Samphire Hoe, Dover : Samphire Hoe was created from all the earth removed when the Channel Tunnel was built. It was landscaped & a new landscape created. Some areas were planted and otehrs were left to see what plants would self seed. A very refreshing and beautiful way to spend New Years Day 2006.
