The Dark Ages Society aim to recreate the period 850-951 AD. Each member develops a character name and identity, either Saxon or Viking. Clothing, accutrements & weaponry are based, as far as possible, on authentic finds nad great fun & merriment is had at regular fighting weekends and period banquets.
